Zermatt

Zermatt is a town in the Visp district in the German speaking part of Valais Canton (Wallis) in Switzerland. It's a popular tourist destinations, both in winter and summer and has a population of just under 6,000. The village is situated at the end of Mattertal at an altitude of 1,620 metres above sea level.

It was a nice location in the heart of Zermatt. The facilities weren't spectacular but it was clean and functional. The only disappointing feature for us was finding someone there to check in and out with as the registration desk seemed unmanned a good part of the time.
