It is a beautiful location, on the opposite side (North) of Lake Kowaguchiko, from the town Kowaguchiko. The 45min walk to town, is safe, and a sidewalk, all the way along the lake, and across a long bridge. A taxi costs 2800 Yen to the station. ... more

I stayed for one night. The staff were very helpful and professional. It is a perfect place to visit Mt Fuji. It is adjacent to the lake and Mt Fuji dominates the view. In the morning, the reflection of the volcano on the lake was stunning. The hotel Onsen is FAB. To sit in the bath and have Mt Fuji in the distance is perfect. ... more
