For the overvalued Firenze city, this place is OK. I'll recommend it for a couple of night if you want to walk around the city. Pros: very close to train station and to "historical center". Cons: noisy street, few bathrooms. Staff was nice. No breakfast and you have to pay for internet and coffee. ... more

  • Florence or Rome?
I am planning on studying abroad in Italy next spring. It's tough for me to chose between staying in Florence or Rome. Either way I'll get a chance to see each of these cities, but only get to live and study in one. I've never been to Italy so I want to make the right decision! I also want to close to the beach ...

I wanted to visit both these beautiful places but i only have a very limited time, to be exact, 4 days.Is it possible to see the major attractions of Venice by just staying there overnight? and spend the other two nights in Florence? I would be very grateful for any suggestions. Ta! ...

Nancy and I arrived in Florence, fresh from a lovely time in Venezia. We're not quite sure what we expectedFirenze to be like, but it somehow didn't strike us in the comfortable, enchanting way that Venezia did. Very nice city, lots to see, but the city just didn't "call" to us. The highlight of our ...

We had already paid our money by the time we read some bad reviews about Ester, and chose to continue anyway. We had a family room, with a king bed and two singles with its own bathroom.

great stay. A large airy room with a balcony-heaps of fresh air. The lady in charge was lovely and the cleanest person with rooms that I have ever seen. A delight and will always stay there.

Nice and cheap hotel. The room was very good with shower and washbasin in it. Because it is a small hotel in an old builiding, the noise was a problem.

A small and decent budget hotel, with good value for the money. We stayed two nights in a double room from the 17th to the 19th of September 2009. We payed 76€, nothing in advance (I think).
