Overall well priced 3 star accommodation in a handy location to all the sights of Sultanahmet. Good sized rooms with good en-suite facilities. The young staff are very helpful and friendly and speak good english. Nice continental breakfast with pleasant views over the Marmara sea. This hotel is absolutely perfect for any backpacker. Its location is very good near Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque. The tram station Gülhane is just up the road. Saruhan Hotel
Linen was really good quality in the rooms on the top floors; not as good on the bottom floor rooms. However, the rooms on top are very light so if you can't sleep with lots of light, go to the bottom rooms. Also, you can hear the Muslim prayers at 6 am from these top rooms.
