Adana is a city in the Adana Province in the eastern part of Mediterranean Turkey and in south central Anatolia. Adana is Turkey's fourth largest city with about 1.6 million inhabitants, and southeast Anatolia's trading center. The town lies in southeastern Turkey about 30 kilometres from the Mediterranean coast.
