Koper is one of Slovenia's four coastal cities on the Adriatic Sea (the others are Piran, Portoroz, and Izola). It is home to Slovenia's largest maritime port and offers great views of large shipping vessels in action. Like the other coastal cities, its style is very Italianate and beautiful.
