It's a capsule hotel, friendly staff, in walking distance to most of the temples on the east side of Kyoto => therefore a good location for travellers who don't mind to sleep in a capsule. I would highly recommend "The Amenity Hotel in Kyoto". The staff was very friendly, the rooms were very well kept and the price was reasonable.
