Budget Hotels in Malacca

Very cheap room! What you pay is what you get! Wasn't expecting much as it is a hostel but the room is spartan! Just the bed, pillows and blankets(which is as thin as a towel). Cyclamen cottage has been beautifully restored. It was a peaceful and very pleasant place to stay, with excellent facilities. Cindy was a warm and generous host and very welcoming. check in took a long time, half an hour! more than any other 5 star i have been to in asia. the lobby had bad air circ so smelt like the mezzanine buffet all day. the lifts were a little slow. apart from that, the rooms were airy and clean, if a little dated. ... more
