The manager in this hostel really sucks! I've told him why he charged me the remaining amount before my arrival, but he always chose not to answer! Location is really good, just beside the Mont Royal Metro Station. ... more

About what you'd expect from a cheap hotel. Staff was friendly though, and the location was excellent: Right on the endless restaurant-lined street of 'The Village', and very close to the Berri-UQAM metro station, where the green and orange lines cross. ... more

This place was super. The only thing in my specifi c case was that I had to leave by 0730h and so could not partake in the (price-included) breakfast from 0800h till 1030h.

The location is perfect, right in the Old Montreal, which is really a tourist area. The room was very clean; they gave us towels, shampoo and soap too. We even had a TV in the room and good heating.

Very basic and cheap, but you get what you pay for. The bed and pillow came with someone else's hair on it.

Hotel Ste-Catherine is a good budget type hotel for those who would rather spend their holiday money on other things rather than on the price of a high- end hotel.

I really enjoy this hotel and have stayed there twice. It is clean, friendly, easily accessible and has free wifi. The food is pleasant and there are pleasant extras like the use of a nearby gym.

Positive: Good for a budget hotel. Had all the necessary ammenities and thought it was clean. The on-suite toilet was very good: spacious, always had hot water, clean.
