Horrid at best! I only stay one of my scheduled 3 days. They did not have the rooms available that I had reserved. The rooms were spacious but DIRTY: debris on the floor, paint chipping in the room where the children were, towels smelled like mildew/ looked dirty, pools were not clean, and bathroom smelled terribly of urine. There was NO water pressure at all, not even enough to rinse the sand off your skin, plus the shower drains were clogged both which they were unable to fix. The food was hardly edible. There are several dogs on the premises... these are not guard dogs but rather pets that follow the cook into the kitchen and beg for food while you try to eat; highly unsanitary. And although it says it is near they beach, that is only if you go through other expensive beach front resorts, otherwise you must drive/walk several kilometers to the public beach access road. The property looks run down, as though it is in desparate need of renovations, specially compared to the beatiful resorts in the area. Plus I was told there is NO internet access!!
I was not expecting anything amazing for the price; but every issue brought up to staff was never solved and some were down right rude. WARNING: they DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS FOR PAYMENT, other than for your deposit paid through this website. After one night I had decided to find other accomadations and went to tell manager that we would no longer be requiring their services. I aggreed to pay for the previous nights stay minus the deposit, as the price was to be going up for the 2nd and 3rd night and it was definitely not worth it. She was irrate, yelling and cursing. She insisted that the deposit did not go to the hotel so did not count as part of my payment. She tried to call the owner in Germany and even tried trapping us in the compound and called the police. I ended up having to pay the average night stay of my scheduled 3 rather than what that night should have costed because she refused to allow me to speak with the owner who was unaware of the real situation and the manager lied... I just paid so that I would not have to argue with that wretched women. Worse experience of the entire trip!!! I would highly discourage anyone from going there!! Wait until you can afford real trip/accomodations in diani beach; the beach is beatiful!
