Bariloche, Argentina
POSITIVES: Very warm welcome with tea and cakes! Excellent bedroom: very large, king size comfortable bed, built in wardrobe, very quiet. Very good internet facilities: either with a practical internet station near the rooms or with a fast WiFi connection. Lovely Labrador called Mamu giving a good home feel for this guest house. Perfect location, close to everything!
NEGATIVES: Dreadfull breakfast: very thin slices of cold and stale toasted bread. Very thin and very few slices of dry sponge cake. The worst breakfast we had so far in Argentina after 3 weeks of travelling! The website (in Spanish) says that breakfast consists of HOMEMADE BREAD & ORANGE JUICE. Absolutely not! Also, unfortunately, there is no "public" space to relax or do what ever you want to do outside your room (meet other guests, write, read, etc). There is a room with a large table seating about 8 near the kitchen, but the couple running the guest house is always using it in the evening to entertain their own friends and family. It is a shame that we had to stay in our room all the time.
This guest house has a great potential to be just what most travellers wants. However, breakfast MUST be improved and a public area MUST be provided to achieve that.
