Stayed for 8 days in March. Rooms are functional and clean, not designed for 'living' in as no cooker and only two of the four hot plates on the hob worked due to 'safety reasons'. There is a microwave but only metal pans. Kettle is 'whistle' so be prepared to wait. Cleaning staff were excellent and came every day, anything we needed changing, towels etc, no problem.
Some important points, if you are a dog owner, fine, if not then there is serious dog noise in the area which carries on all night. Even if you are a dog owner, you don't need to take your own dog, there's plenty available.
On the subject of noise, the rooms are all tiled so you hear the rooms above, below and alongside, footsteps, toilets, music and television. Living in a commune would be a good description.
Price, available on LateRooms for £26 per room per night, we paid just over £50 per night thinking we had booked through Clube Hotel website. Look around for a deal.
Would we go back, location is good, supermarkets near, beach 250 metres, Vilamoura 10 minutes walk, we would have to think long and hard.
Hostel Goodfeeling was a wonderful place to stay. For me as a guest passing through the area it was great to experience the relaxed atmosphere generated by a very friendly staff. Hugo is a very welcoming host and no request was a problem. I would highly recommend this hostel, I would be surprised if you do not leave here with a Good Feeling!
