Sol Atacama Hostel

I stayed in Sol Atacama Hostel for 2 nights before my trip to Uyuni and one after that trip.
By the price you know you are staying at a budget place, so you should be expecting budget facilities. Once you have this in mind, the place is basic, but great.
It looks quite far away from the centre when looking at San Pedro's map, but it is only a 5 minute walk from the centre, and has 2 shops to buy food next to it.
This hostel has room for 12 people and one toilet and shower to share, a second one is going to be build. It has a kitchen and a ping pong table too. The place is clean and not too crowded-like other hostels in San Pedro de Atacama- and it has a friendly atmosphere.
The guy that runs it is a young chilean called Andres and he is very friendly and helpful, and encourages people to enjoy a few drinks in San Pedro town with him - no party session at the hostel- so you can either join him/the rest of backpackers or enjoy a quiet early sleep.
