Cairo, Egypt
I stayed here a week and was very happy with the choice: The location is very interesting, not only because it is perfectly downtown, but because the house is also famous from the book "Jacoubian Building" by Ala al-Aswany. The street is noisy (but that is the case for almost every hostel in Cairo), but inside the hostel it was quiet. I liked my room very much: an original old room with a lot of atmoshere. Toilets and shower were always clean. The people working here were very friendly and helpful (but not too much ... in trying to sell me something). There could be a bit more choice and changes for breakfast, but this is not so important. I missed nothing.
I wrote a text about my stay in my blog (german language):

Cairo, Egypt
We stayed in the hostel in January 2013. We lived in a private room with bathroom, with windows to the street and free wifi. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel you are wrong. But if you want to live with the people in Cairo you are invitet to be part of the family with stuff and guests in the hostel. You can get any help you need for your stay in Cairo and Egypt. When we left to Luxor, we had to say good bye to many good friends.
