Kilkenny, Ireland
Although suiting our needs ie. close to town and self catering (with no other guests present) we were a bit disappointed with the general facilities at Rose Cottage. The TV and toaster didn't work(the breakfast consisted of some stale slices of bread, an opened packet of cereal and opened jam milk and butter), the lights were too dim to read at night (in the lounge area) and the shower was awkward to regulate. We were grateful to 'Frances' who came in to light the fire in the evenings and make things as welcoming as possible. The beds were comfortable and as we were out and about for the 3 days we spent in Kilkenny our stay wasn't compromised by the few 'let downs' of Rose Cottage.
