I spent three days there during the week, and I had the place all for myself, so my assessment may be favorably biased by this fact. It felt like paradise. In the evening, the staff (some Chinese ladies from the village) left, and I sat below one of the lampions that surround the garden. It was quite a sight with the bright lit red lanterns in front of each room (they look to the garden) and the moon and stars above. One evening a frog tried to climb on my shoe, but then decided to stay just beside it.

The facilities are simple and locally sourced, but good and to my sense very tasteful. The whole place has the touch of a Beijing Siheyuan equipped with warm water, wireless and a Saeco coffee machine. Apart from the frogs there are the dogs of the staff and the proprietor, very well behaved.

I just loved it!
