Damascus is the capital of Syria and after Aleppo it is the biggest city in the country with slightly less than 2 million people living here. It is located in the southwest of the country not far from the border with Jordan. It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world.

.. var det ei dama innom klasserommet.. Stor, kraftig og streng. Eg fekk klar beskjed om at eg måtte slå borna og ga meg ein pinne å slå med. Eg takka fint nei og sa at eg ikkje har tru på å slik avstraffing. Då fekk eg streng beskjed om at om eg ikkje slo dei, skulle ho personleg komma å slå meg. Vert ...
