Mitzpe Ramon

Mitzpe Ramon is a small hamlet in the Negev Desert in southern Israel, clinging to the edge of Makhtesh Ramon, a gigantic crater. It is the world's largest erosion cirque and a spectacular geographic feature. The crater draws many tourists, who base themselves in Mitzpe Ramon for their explorations.
