Arusha

Arusha is the capital of the Arusha Region, located in the north of Tanzania. It has a population of around 300,000. The city is located on a plateau in the Great Rift Valley amidst the Serengeti Plain, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara National Park, Olduvai Gorge, Tarangire National Park, and Mount Kilimanjaro National Park.

stayed there for a week it is 22 kms from arusha so own transport is helpful if you stay here. is a nice quiet location . rooms are not that good, shower preasure was not good and leaking badly, bathroom mirror was completely broken, toilet seat was broken , but the staff made up for this very friendly and food and vdrink very cheap. ... more
