i would definately recommend Australia if your looking for something safe and warm duing christmas and new years.... Defeinately a place to see if thats what you are looking for, and if so make it Adelaide in South Australia as she would love it down here :-)..... ...

Port - Adelaide. We caught the train into Adelaide, Did the city Loop bus, then went to the museam had a coffee, then we went to the Botanical Gardens. then made our way back to the ship.
