Hello Everyone,

As mentioned in the title, I'd like to know what aspect to chose between hotels Or Apartments in Budapest? I'm a student and will be moving on march to Budapest, so my stay will take more than 3 months, this is why I prefer renting a flat or apartment, but I want to get your perspective on this issue.

Thank you,
Regards.

Well, I definitely wouldn't want to stay in a hotel for 3 months. And there's plenty of nice apartment options in Budapest. Not sure what kinds of options there are for longer stays like 3 months, but probably a bit of looking around will find some decent possibilities.

Hello Peter, thanks for your answer. I found out this apartment rental offers, but I'm not sure how/what to choose exactly, can you help?
P.S: can I post a link or should I send it to you via PM?

No, you can't post a link - that would be classed as promotional and removed immediately. Particularly in this situation where it is a very suspicious thing to do. A routine spammer's tactic is to ask a question, then post a link as an innocent follow up later.

I can't really help you decide which apartment is best for you. You'll need to look through the descriptions yourself and decide what your needs are from an apartment. For 3 months as a student, some shared accommodation would seem good to me.

I will say; I've always stayed on the Pest side of the city and I really like that part as it felt very lively.
