Travel Forums Europe Where to stay in London?

I live in the Northern Ireland and next week I have to move to the centre London to watch my son’s first football match. I need somewhere with reasonable price to stay. Anyone live in London can give me idea? Hence, appreciate if anybody could advise me on this as well as hostel accommodation so I could get to the nearest tube if need be to make it early.

Use the Accommodation link at the top of the page. England, then London.

Shared rooms are quiet cheap but a private room is quite expensive.

Check the maps to find out how near you are to an Underground or train station.

I travel with kids to London frequently, and find the Premier Inn Hotel chain quite reasonably priced (for London), and they seem to be nearly everywhere which may been you don't need to catch a Tube....

London has 1 of the best public transport systems in the World, the "tube" section is frequent and easy to navigate, although usually crowded, as pointed out use an accommodation website to determine a good deal. Without knowing your expected levels of comfort, where you son is playing foootball or the distance you are willing to travel, it is difficult for anyone to offer recommendations.

All the best

You will find a lot of hotels in London, with reasonable price. My advise is try to check your itinerary, and stay in a hotel near the place that the football match will be held. That will keep you from spending for transportation and of course time on getting to the location. I hope this will help you.
