Hi everyone

Doing a bit of research for someone else. Looking for a hotel/guesthouse in central Lisbon that has an elevator (someone who uses a wheelchair) but also has a bit of charm, not the likes of Novotel, Hilton, etc.
I found some really great boutique places only to discover they only have stairs.

Hoping someone here on TP can recommend somewhere! :)

Thanks
evelyn

Hi there,

You can find many nice places in Lisbon allways depending on the price level you want, naturally.
To be honest I can't remember well about the elevator but you can try:

Let me know if is this kind you are looking for. If not I can suggest others.
Do not hesitate to email me for more questions.
You will also find some suggestions of terraces to have a tea/coffe/bear and waht to do and to go in Lisbon at http://www.walkinginportugal.blogspot.pt/

Have fun,
David

Hi there, I'd recommend this one ...http://www.phlisbonhostel.com/en/#/ not sure of your age group but this is suitable for everyone. It is in the middle of the hub of Lisbon "Chiado" and you'll find everything close at hand. Anything else i can help with feel free to ask.

Hi!

One of the newest and (seemingly) nicest hotels to have opened lately is http://www.thebeautiquehotels.com/en-GB/Home-EN.aspx - I don't know if they have an elevator, but I would guess they do. I've never stayed there, but I've eaten at their restaurant and it's quite pleasant.

A friend has stayed at http://www.vinccihoteles.com/eng/Hotels/Portugal/Lisboa/Vincci-Baixa/(lang)/en and quite liked it. It's quite central and, I would guess, has an elevator. On another occasion, she also stayed at http://www.lpboutiquehotel.com/en/ and liked it as well.

Many new hotels are opening in the 'Baixa' (downtown) area - most of them look quite nice. I work in this area, so it's nice seeing the downtown area become more lively.

Let me know if you need any more information.

Best regards,
Isabel
