How to add a Custom Label to a map stop

Travel Forums System Talk How to add a Custom Label to a map stop

Hi,

I'm a TravellersPoint newbie. I'm trying to add stops to my map (e.g. The Parker Hotel, Palm Springs) but the location auto-complete does not find it. I can add it using the street address but I then cannot change the name of the stop to read 'The Parker'. the FAQ mentions adding/editing names/custom labels for map stops but I cannot see how to do this. When I click on a stop the only form fields (on the left hand side) are: Location, Arrival Date, Departure Date and Leaving By. Changing the Location 'manually' and saving seems to hang.

Kind Regards
Chris

Hi Chris,

If you go into the Planner view of your trip and edit your stops in there you should be able to do this without any trouble. It's possible in the Map view as well, but it's not handled quite as well.

In the Planner view, click on the stop, click on edit, change the name to whatever you want (do not select any autosuggest options) and hit save. It should save it with the new name and the location should remain where it was previously.

I hope that helps!

Hi Peter,
That works using the planner - thanks for your help.
