They really should change that expression to "You can't eat your cake and then still expect to have it sitting around."

Indeed tway. I have too been torn between the two...the job and my traveling desires. I try to get the best of both worlds by working very hard while I am at home (and earn enough) so that I can go away for at least a few of weeks at a time. But mostly, I cant get myself to give up the career I worked so hard to get. I think that as long as you are happy with the way your life is going, there is no right or wrong decision.

(PS. I am pretty at the moment).

And the whole point to life is to "be happy". Some people are happy working some are not. I beleive that about 90% of the working population are unhappy with their jobs, tied to their salaries maybe because of family and so on. So, if you do have a job you love, fantastic. What you need is balance in your life!
