hellsbells has indicated that this thread is about Spain

I am going to Spain in June this year starting in Barcelona. We are then getting a train to either Valencia or Alicante.

From there we want to go to Malaga. Do you know how we can do this? Is there a coastal train, coach journey or even boat trip?

I appreciate any help you can give me on this matter.

Between Valencia and Alicante I would choose Valencia.

About trains, try website (Spanish Railway Co) for timetables and costs.

About boat trip from Valencia or Alicante to Malaga... I don't think any of this exists... anyway any other people have any information about it.

Hi Helen:

I went to Spain last summer with my sisters and we traveled along your same route. I think that Valencia and Alicante are both great places, but I personally like Alicante better.

About transportation: we also rode the RENFE train system, but I don't think there was a route from Alicante to Malaga--but I could be wrong. We took RENFE from Madrid to Alicante. You may also want to try taking a bus. They are a bit cheaper and I don't think it would be a super long trip for you.

No. Nothing Between Alocante and Malaga unless you take a long and circuitous route inland through the centre of the country via Albacete/Alcazar St Juan. But quite a few buses/coaches run along the coastal road, so it's normally relatively easy to get along there.

For this summer I'd like to go in Calpe (next Alicante) and then join Malaga. But I don't know how. You have already done this travel so how can I do? I know there's no train, but is there a bus...?
(I'm french sorry for my english)

By bus:

Valencia-Málaga (10 h.): 46,44 € (Valencia-Alicante-Murcia-Granada-Málaga)

Alicante-Málaga (7 h.): 33,72 € (Alicante-Murcia-Granada-Málaga)

By Plane

Iberia and Spanair fly Valencia or Alicante-Málaga via Madrid from 50€ to 200 €. Check your dates.

Thanks for the answer,
My plane changes, is it possible to join grenada to barcelona by plane or by train with renfe or other, or by bus? and grenada to peniscola?
because my plane will arive to barcelona then we want to go at grenada and then at peniscola...
And I looked for the plane Paris-Grenada (just for one go not the return) and it's to much expensive 600€.
Is there someone who have an answer please.

Check Vueling Airlines, Air Europa and Spanair for flights Granada - Barcelona. (or vice versa)

For Paris - Grenada, you could opt for a flight to Madrid, and then continue to Granada. (Maybe Easyjet or Vueling to fly from Paris to Madrid, and take a flight with Vueling or Spanair to Granada, depending on which connections/offers work out best)
