Hey everyone! I'm a 28 year old female looking to go travelling alone at the end of the year (november time maybe) I actually really want to first do some volunteering work in Thailand with stray dogs as I have previous RSPCA work. After I then want to go to New Zealand and hopefully work there on a WHV. However, I'm so scared I will not find work, run out of money or feel lonely over there. To be honest, I am quite nervous about the trip as I'm quite a shy person, and as much as I want to meet new people I can get very nervous in bigger groups and don't want this to ruin my experience. I'm not too much of a party girl, but don't mind going out once and awhile, but prefer a quieter night!
I have traveled to Australia before on my own when I was younger, but I never made many friends to travel with as I found it hard to socalise. So traveled alone most of the time. I really want this trip to be different. I'm still single, no mortgage and stuck in a supermarket job and don't want to miss out on this opportunity!
I have probably made myself to sound like a total bore! But I really want to enjoy this trip and make memories! Has anyone had a similar experiences? Has anyone done any volunteer work? Also is it easy to get work in NZ? Any help would be so fantastic for me! Thanks Sarah
