BUDGETING FOR RTW TRIP

My boyfriend and I are leaving April 2015 to start our rtw adventure. No real time limit (somewhere around 2016 when we want to get married) - just a list of destinations. I need help! I've been offered a job opportunity of a lifetime.
- great pay - triple what I make now- which means tons of savings for trip and wedding and pay off debt

The glitch is its 6 hours away from friends family and my bf. He may be able to transfer in 6 months but unknown. The job sounds great but unknown if I'll handle it- sales pressure.

Recommendations? Go for high risk high reward or keep looking for another job?

We've saved $ 20,000 so far. Almost all him. He will probably be able to save another 10 to 15.

Would really appreciate thoughts! Thank you!

Some will say go for the job & some will say wait for another job.

And you will be just where you are now. Undecided.

It's your life - your decision. Make it.

I'm probably an old cynic but triple the pay that' sound suspicious to me.

Is this a guaranteed salary for working 37 hours a week with no strings attached, don't get yourself into the rut of a 24/7 job you'll regret it.

If you don't take the job does this mean you can't start the rtw trip in April 15 because the funding's not there?

You could always delay the trip and save more. The worst thing you could do is go without sufficient funds because you would be watching every penny and that would spoil the trip.

You could get a work Visa for say Australia and earn some money while traveling, look at other ways of earning extra money while still at home and away.

Best of luck.
