I would like to visit the biggest cities in Holland: Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague. I think that Holland is a perfect place for me: I am keen on bicycling :)

Do get out of those biggest cities if ever visiting, then, as the biking there is rather dismal. Instead, come in spring, head to Haarlem or Leiden, and bike out into the flowerfields.

I will go to Hong Kong, have not gone there before. Just want to have a look at this city, as it is a fast modern city with many opportunities, and combining global products here without tax that it is a shopping heaven for shopaholics. Just experience the daily life and custom there.

This is a hard question, like describing favorite ale or author
Top of the list:

Hungary - because of that cheeky girl that introduced me to the music of Quimby and broke my heart

Lebanon- had a glorious night in Beruit, was an amazing experience not the fire and brimstone you see on the news and I have a passion for Levant Arabi, would love to see more of it.

Beaches of Normandy- After my experience overseas I have loads of respect for the guys who fought a world war, plus I like reminders of a time when my people were strong, bold and did not cower for fear of inflaming overly delicate sensitivities of our own people.

Mongolia- endless steps, mad history and fermented mares milk! Always wanted to travel the silk road or at least camp with Nomads. The Mongols have always fascinated me. Once I thought I was going to be an anthropologist and go study nomadic people....but this guy does not do well in school, he would rather get dirty and break rules.

Russia- to see what it is really about, growing up during the cold war we were given a set of associations that are most likely not true. Their language is intoxicating and I could never not want to go there after reading Bulgokov.

Iceland- for the trekking and to hear a viking language

South Africa- for southern hemisphere adventures, sharks scare me stupid, so I need to go swim with them and there are plenty there.

Morroco- to wander the markets and get high on culture shock, and here Maghrebi juxtaposed with French

Sweden- Dated a Swede in College, all her friends left an impression on me, some of the warmest people I ever met and the coolest language. Would love to see Lapland.

Canada- all of it- from Vancouver Island to Cape Breton, until I lived their I never realized what a rich and complex culture it is. I almost emigrated and may still do it in a year or two. Not a fan of some of their laws though.

Poland- because history glosses over them, never mentioning the things they have gone through and every Pole I met while deployed was tough as nails and sincere, plus they make an incredible honey wine, and their impressionist art is amazing! ( saw exhibit in Vancouver ages ago)

More of Belgium- liege in particular and luxembourgh as well...so many good things come from Belgium, beer, chocolate, frites, machine guns etc.

The free state of Texas- Just to see what the big deal is, I hear their BBQ is amazing and people still have manners. Could just be rumors.
