I dont have a creative bone in my body. I cant get creative even if I tried

Maybe that all depends on how you define "creativity". In the most general sense, being creative is synonomous with something artistic - painting, writing, dancing, and so on.

But, as an accountant, could you say that you're creative with numbers at, say, tax time? I don't mean that you do anything illegal, but rather that you start off with a bunch of receipts and slips and what-have-you and work to find the best possible outcome. That's pretty creative, because it means you have to think above and beyond just plugging in a bunch of numbers.

Of course, there is always creative accounting for which many people are eternally grateful for

Yes! I was thinking creative on an artistic level. But you are right, I can get really creative when it comes to taxes, everything legal of course but it is just a matter of looking at things from different angles...heck, I AM creative!

Creative accounting put Enron and Arthur Andersen out of business .

If I could just explain to you what Enron did to get "creative" enough and get around the US tax code, all of you would die. I can talk about it for hours...but I must say, they did have someone really creative on working on their books...

knowledge comes from posing a question that you can't answer... and creativity is making up the answer to your question!!
i think creativity is completely your personal upbringing... kids who have been taught to be adventurous and use their imagination are the sources of creativity... but that's just my thoughts...

Of course, all I could do was hold one my sister's dolls up to the mirror and pretend she was chatting along with me as well
