I'm planning for a solo trip to Europe this September. I'm the kind of person who prefer to stay in one place and appreciate the foods, scenery and nightlife. Not into taking tour and try to fit in 10 historical places in 1 day. :)

The initial plan is to start from Amsterdam, take a train to Berlin, and end my road trip either in Warsaw or Prague.
I will later take a flight to Athens and will end my Euro trip in Istanbul.

Considering that I'll be travelling alone, and on medium budget, I hope fellow travelers could drop me some advise on these points:-

1. Germany : Berlin vs Hamburg vs Munich vs Frankfurt ; which one (or two) would you choose?
2. Warsaw or Prague

Thanks for your help.

Germany: Definitely Berlin, definitely not Frankfurt.

Prague is the best of the listed cities, in my opinion :-)

You like to stay in one place so why 5 countries? I would pick only 3 : Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague and visit the cities and the surroundings - there is so much to see!

Haha. I'm originally from Malaysia. Pretty costly to travel to Europe. So I'm planning to spend 4d/3n in each of the selected city and at the same time utlizing my 15 days to the max. By the way, Amsterdam, Berlin and Prague it is!

I am from Poland so I fervently recommend Warsaw but on the other hand I visited Prague last summer and I can confirm that it's magic city too.

I agree! Berlin is a fantastic city and Munich is really good too. There isn't much to see in Frankfurt; I haven't been to Hamburg.

In Germany I would advise to visit Munich and choosing between Warsaw and Prague - definitely Prague!
