Cornwall is a big tourist destination in the summer. In winter it is basically a big long bit jutting out into the Atlantic designed to catch the sea fog. Can be lovely but can be cold damp and miserable.
My visit to the meaderies was 20 years ago so just googled and only a few now listed, they all seem to play up the mediaeval themed restaurant thing. Which could be fun if it's your thing.
Honey wine is amazing and what comes from Poland must be made with honey from magic bees and unicorn tears. It is wonderful, like toe curling, singing at the cat, running barefoot in the snow writing terrible poetry wonderful. It goes well with a nice sharp cheddar also.
Most hippie grocery stores will have it, I highly recommend it.
I will have to hunt down a hippie grocery store. I want to write heart-bleed poetry with frostbite!
