Hi there

asked a similar question but was not specific. I am going to Australia on Feb 29th and staying till Aug 9th. I will be attending UWS at the Penerith campus I need to find a place to stay perferably near Sydney thats easy access to rail as I will need to commute to school everyday. I know its expensive to live in Sydney but its an option. I need a place thats furnished and its a possibility that i could have someone living with me (as I know some from school also going for the program). Someone has suggested Paramatta?

Please someone, I need advice

thanks so much

Hello,

why not simply stay at the uni campus and travel to the city only on the days off? It seems to be quite a nice place, you'd meet plenty of people and be part of a community straight away.

February is almost here, so if you want to consider this option, contact them asap:

Best of luck and enjoy your time at UWS!

Cheers,

Peggy

Hi Penny,

I'm currently living in Penrith (emu plains, v close). It't not so bad being so far out of the City. I still manage to travel into the heart of the City to work every day, it's less than an hours train journey. It'll be a much cheaper option to live out nr the uni if not at it... and you will have more money to enjoy the city on your days of. Penrith actually has a lot of stuff. Good shopping centre, Hoyts Cinema, bowling and the Penrith Panthers(local league team) World of Entertainment - there is always stuff going on here. Its so close to the Blue Mountains, which makes a great day if not weekend out.. i love it up there feels a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of the City! There is the Penrith Regatta centre with Whitewater Rafting and other activities. There are local gyms... the list goes on really... I'm sure you'll get on great it you decide to give it a go living 'out west'..always a fair few degrees hotter out west too.. which is great for the tan!!
Feel free to mail if you have any more qu's.
