I really wish Tibet was listed as a seperate country (like other non-sovereign nations listed (French Polynesia, Scotland, etc.)). When doing my travel log I felt really guilty and sad having to put my travels to Tibet under China.
Anyone else feel the same way? (I think if you've ever visited Tibet you probably do).

Unfortunately, Tibet is part of China at the moment. I feel for what you're saying, but it's a considerably different situation to Scotland or French Polynesia (which both have their own government).

If we included Tibet, we might also have to consider places like Chechnya, Tartarstan, the list goes on and on. It's a whole can of worms I'd rather not get into.

I've been to Tibet, and don't feel the same way. But that's just my opinion. I don't want to upset anyone if they have a different point of view. There are two sides to every coin

Good point Peter. Thanks for answering (When I saw other non-sovereign countries listed I thought maybe it was just an oversite).
