Best of luck Nikki. I'm sure you'll find the right words. ;)

Best of luck to you both! It's always sad when someone near dies. That feeling of helplesness for one...

I feel:

  • sad. One of the travellers in the small firm I work for left for a year away on Monday and found out today that three of his closest friends died yesterday.
  • busy. Way too much to do.
  • thankful. My life in general is a good one.

If you ask me in passing, I'll just say "busy, but good"...

Wow, soapsuds and Nikki, that is really sad. Today seems the "lets talk about DEATH day" cause a client just called me to tell one of his employees died on a motorcycle accident, after falling off the bike, he got ran over by a car. But today I feel:

  • Stressed: Beause I am buried with work and even if I sit here for the next 36 hrs straight, I would still be buried.
  • Annoyned: Because there is so much work, I havent been able to spend some time here in TP like I used to. I miss you guys!
  • Extremely grateful: Last night my husband and I went to look for a new car for him. I am grateful cause we could get just what he wanted (even though it is expensive) and not have money be a big issue. I told him yesterday how lucky we are and have been in the last few years, lets thank our lucky stars.
  • Happy: Because my husband is acting like a little kid with a brand new toy (hasnt gotten it yet but it has been ordered).
  • Sad: Because I started thinking about my friend that passed away last December after hearing about the motorcycle guy. He was just 24 yrs old. It makes me realize what little time we have in this world.

Quoting soapsuds

How are you? What I mean is how are you really?

Hey Soapsuds, great thread! Thanks! By the way, so sorry about your grandpa .

On another note, last night when we went to the car dealer to get a car for my husband, our salesperson was from the Philipines. My husband was working with two other dealers to find the best price but I told him that I like this guy the best (and not because of the price). Nice family guy with all his family pics on his desk...he reminded me of my dad...so needless to say we bought the car from him.

I agree great thread.

I would say:

Confusion - not really know what to do
Anger - at the hate and malice that runs the world
Calm - with the sun on my face riding through the parks on my bicycle
