I was thinking while in the Michael jackson thread and I came to the thought that "is too much of anything a bad thing?". Obviously if you drink too much you pay the price. Those that dont have too much money always want more or to win the lottery. Can you travel too much, from this thread you would think not.

I would say, No you can't. But I think I will leave the seasoned travellers like Travel 100 and DAveh answer this one. :)

You can get very world weary if you travel too much. It's nice to have a base.

I think it is as individual as we are. Some just can't stand to put down roots, some NEED roots...and I think TP has the entire spectrum;)

Ohhh, and as far as other things? Moderation is key...UNLESS your talking about chocolate consumption;) Then there is no such thing as 'too much'. :)

Unless you find yourself hopping into your jeans!

I think you can have too much of a good thing when it comes to consumption (too much money, too many cars, too much good food, etc.) as you will probably come to expect it and thus not appreciate it any more. There's a lot to be said about the benefits of gratitude!

However, I can't say you can have too much love, or too many friends, or ever be too kind or too friendly or too happy. These are gifts we give and receive precisely BECAUSE we've learned to appreciate others and be grateful thay they are there.

I think ANYTHING in excess is not a good thing. Let that be drinking, recreational drugs, studying, traveling, working etc etc. I am one to talk cause I do do some things in excess but I do realize it when I am doing it. Something suffers along the way...

Tina, you always give the good perspective. Yes, one cant have too much love or friends. That IS a good thing.

Have to agree, whether we like to admit it or not, that probably true, even for travel
