This question gets asked frequently and most times the answer is the same... How can anyone possibly offer an opinion when you fail to mention the single most important piece of information... What is your nationality and why are you coming to the US?

In any case... for starters have you checked out the US Embassy website in your home country for visa information?

Cheers,
Terry

For any country you intend to visit as a tourist will have different requirements depending on where you come from. Previous post has some good information - visit the US Embassy website. You should have sufficient money to see you through your visit. Also have 6 months remaining in your passport from the time you intend to go home.

There are some "visitors" who come across the border illegally through Mexico. Many of them will probably get free or discount housing, free medical, possibly free college and easy drivers license depending on where you end up at and maybe never have to work a day in your life collecting welfare! You will treated as a hero! Try to immigrate legally and you are in for a whole bunch of crap and a long wait.
