I see death almost everyday in my job. The other day the team fought for over 8 hours to save the life of a car accident victim. Without going into details, this young person had massive facial/skull damage plus damage to the spinal cord which, if this person survived, would have necessitated long-term assisted living.

Although my part in attempting to save this person's life was minor compared to others, I was there when the patient passed away. Another young life lost.

Am I afraid to die? I'd have to say yes.

I'm not so much afriad to die, as I'm afraid to not having lived life to it's fullest.

Abang cikusang,

Sorry for the delay. University exams are on at the moment.

"awak lebih mengetahui dari saya" (you know more than I do)

Cheers

The reality is less poetic, but does anyone recognize this?

"Death, the only immortal who treats us all alike. Whose pity & whose peace and whose refuge are for all"

The Impartial Friend: Death, the only immortal who treats us all alike, whose pity and whose peace and whose refuge are for all--the soiled and the pure, the rich and the poor, the loved and the unloved.
- Mark Twain, last written statement; Moments with Mark Twain, Paine
