Gee - whodda guessed that one!

Given at least 4 weeks notice, Mr I says he can whip up a chocolate beer (think Guinness with a twist). However, minimum batch size is 2500 (yes, that's 2 zeros at the end) cases.

(Better make sure Gelli's invited - hate to have it all go to waste cos we know there aren't any other beer lovers out there...)

Theoretically, if 2 people meet on TP and eventually get married, would TP pay for the wedding...?

Who did you meet? Or are you planning on woo'ing someone on here? :)

Not sure how much we'd contribute, but of course we would expect an invite to such an event !! I don't want to say we'd pay for it, otherwise we might see 'convenience marriages' for the sake of a few free beers!!

Well, i'm not planning on woo'ing anybody really (my wife would probably be ok with it, and probably the gf, but the fiancee would go nuts) and whilst i've met a couple, i don't think Sam [or Marijke] would appreciate it if i tried to marry him.

Actually, it's nothing to do with me. It is a genuinely theoretical question (but not an entirely stupid one - i know of half a dozen or so couple's on the Thorntree for example, who have married/long term relationships, whilst i introduced two friends who i both knew originally from Thorntree to each other, and that's still looking very good), but i do have strong suspicions about a certain couple of individuals who will remain strictly nameless...

B*gger... If you said yes, that idea had crossed my mind

The wedding could really be done on the cheap if you think about it:

Exactly - Peter, i don't know if you are interested in marketing to specific groups, but to be honest, all we're lacking is somebody who owns a church/suitable venue, an airline, a jeweller and a hotel or two, and we're all set...

I've got a cousin who owns a hotel in Marquette...

Another cousin who owns a hotel in Florida...

Another who has a jewelry store...

And an aunt who is a nun (no one who can preform marriages though)
We are just about covered!

I've been talking a lot with the Auxiliary Bishop of Montreal recently....I wonder if he'd help.... If not, someone can get ordained on the net. Internet...is there anything it can't do! :)

Cheers,
Katie ;)
