Hi all. I've been thinking about a trip to climb Kilimanjaro and was just after some guidance. Has anybody done it before? I basically want to know everything. How much would the trip set me back? I've read that a 7 day climb is normal? A big question is, what level of fitness do you need? I'm not exactly fit at the minute, but plan on having a year leading up to the trip to get in shape. What equipment would I need and what equipment is provided on the climb? Basically I'd like to know anything anybody can tell me about climbing Kilimanjaro.
