Hello everyone,

Just seeing where people have booked into as today I've finally bitten the bullet and booked into Bounce Sydney on 20th Dec for 2 weeks.

Would be good to see who's around at similar times.

Hi guys, Ive just seen this thread and was a lone traveller too, but don't worry because its so easy to make friends in the hostels you are in, as long as you try to interact with the people there. I have been over here for three months and the amount of brilliant people I have met along the way has been something which has made the trip amazing. I had the same concerns as most people commenting but don't worry as its almost impossible not to make friends and not only that but good friends. I stayed in the Jolly Swagman in Kings Cross and although that is a bit of a colourful part of Sydney it was a brilliant hostel. I'm heading back down to Sydney in December all being well, and so you never know I might see you there!

Happy Travels

Hey Charlotte, I live in Kings Cross, its a great little area with lots of night life and is 5 mins train to pretty much anywhere in the CBD. There loads of travellers here as the area is filled with hostels. Some people say its a bit dodgy but I haven't experienced any thing bad despite what some people have said, theres the occasional crazy person but thats in any city.
