Hello Emma!
If you click on 'links' in the upper right corner, you will find a TON of them. It looks absolutely facinating! (I am trying to talk my oldest daughter into doing it)
Good luck!
:)

It's exactly what i'm doing for 4 months this summer.

I've been granted 4 months of tracking black bears, controlling exotic plant species and managing vast woodlands in a national park in the USA.

I get my accomodation and travel paid for. I even get paid $60 a week!

Absolutely unreal, i'm so frikkin happy!!!!!

Matt, you have to tell me about it when you get back, and if it would be something you would recommend for a 17 /18 yr.old girl. Please keep me posted! :)

No worries. Look up: The Student Conservation Association.
It's based in the USA and most placements require a US citezenship and a driver liscence.

If you want hardcore labour and travel try: Voluntery Services Overseas.

CONGRATULATIONS MATT!!! It's good to hear you received confirmation on your placement!

Let us know when and we'll try to visit you over a weekend. And, any TPers who happen to be in the upper midwest, we'll try to visit and fill you in on American customs and culture.

The Isa's

(Apologies for not having helpful info for this thread at the moment...)
