Ok so i just want to get all of your views on this --->
----> Could someone, who has no experience what-so-ever in travel/transport etc., be able to fly half way across the world and backpack and poss. enjoy it?
This question seems to spur so many different comments/reactions!
you never know before you try
lil, I think you will have the time of your life! Nothing ventured-nothing gained! Those memories are something money can't buy!
You will have to keep us all updated on your trip!
Jasm, plenty of people with no travel experience did just that! Throw yourself into it love!
I would say definitely (it can be a great, enjoyable experience). I don't think past experience traveling is a big factor. I do think the person has to be the type of person that doesn't get too lonely when spending lots of time alone (like in the hotel rooms at night, etc..). I think that's a much bigger factor to consider than traveling experience.
I plan to do just that in a few months and I fully intend to have a blast wheter I know what I'm doing or not. I think the thrill of constantly doing and going somewhere new everytime will more than make up for the amount of times I manage to screw up
Look at it this way Jas... Everyone who travels had to start from somewhere. That is, they were a first-timer at some point in time and probably just as nervous as you are now. Every journey starts with a "first step". You have now made yours with booking your flights.
You are going to have fun, enjoy it and will never look back!
Jas - you'll have the time of your life !!!! As Isa said everyone at some point is a first time traveler so you're not alone. You'll probably meet some fantastic people when you get out there ! If you always let first time nerves get the better of you then you'll never do anything, after all you learned how to walk, talk, found tp , and most important bought THE TICKET !!
I'm so jealous at the moment !!!
You'll have a great time, Jas
Yes, yes and yes! There's a first time for everything! You'll see, you'll have such a great time that you'll bore everyone to tears for months after you get back. You'll never forget or regret it.
