For all of you out there who ever watched Sesame Street. I found this on CNN ...PBS bigwigs are asking the Cookie Monster to give up his patented song: "C is for Cookie" and promote healthy eating.

Supposedly Cookie Monster is part of the reason why kids in the US are fat...it has nothing to do with eating fast food at all. Sigh.

So what will the C stand for now? Cauliflower?

Hahaha:) Exactly!
(But you know, I will gladly give up veggies, fruit, meat and dairy...but it will be a cold day in hell before I give up MY cookies!!)

That's so ridiculous, isn't it.... I'd rather see them slap a restraining order on Ronald Mc Donald :)

When will people start taking responsibility for themselves? I think this lawsuit happy country has gone overboard :(

Who's to say they weren't "healthy" cookies made with whole grain flour and careb morsels?

And, who's in charge of these overweight kids? My guess is Cookie Monster since the parents don't seem to be controlling the cookie jars!

C is for CUPCAKES!!!!! (But, be sure to share kids!)

Healthy cookies??? Whats the point? To me that is like Decaf-coffee...And what is this 'share with the kids' crap? You can not put stipulations on junk-food, ESPECIALLY chocolate;)

How does that old saying go? The more you try to take something away, the more they want it... Imagine Cookie Prohibition?

Maybe they should re-name him "Low-fat Cookie Monster". He could sing "C is for Carob..."

I strongly agree. Diet caffine free Coke! I tried it in France last year and I really didn't understand what I was drinking.. What's in Coke if there is no caffeine and no sugar?

Lots of tasteless water (a litte carmel coloring and preservative just for fun).

I think there should be a Sesame Street boycott or revolution or Cookie Monster goes on strike!

LOL, instead of moonshine in the speak-easies, there will be cookieshine in the bake-easies. Chocolate chips will be hot on the black market! I can picture it now...muppets in dark allies wearing trenchcoats "Pssssssst, kid! I got the stuff!"

Muppets with picket signs would be so cute!

Yeah well, I guess they're targeting poor, defenseless puppets first. Those heartless PBS execs.
