Hello everyone

Me and my boyfriend are travelling round the world and have been gone two months so far. We went to Germany, Finland and St Petersburg amd thrm got the trans siberian railway and ended up in china!

We are going to India on November 19th until January 18th then to Nepal for a month. Our plan was to then go to Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia for a month each then the Phillipines for two weeks and Indonesia for a month. The problem is that it is rainy season in south east asia at this time! Through a lot of research on official websites as well as blogs and forums, i concluded that we will most probably be ok for Thailand. However the other countries are bang in the middle of monsoon season. It doesn't rain all day every day, just sporadically and for like an hour or whatever and at first we didn't think we would really mind because we would go and see the sights, it would be less crowded, rooms are cheaper etc but actually we have been travelling mostly cold cities for two months and yeah india will be hot but it's busy and there's tons of things i want to see and if I'm honest i just want to lay on a boiling hot beach for six months and don't want to be fucking about with rain! So i have come up with this new itinery:
Nov to Feb india
Feb to march Nepal
March to April Thailand
April to may Vietnam
May to June two weeks in northern Laos and two in the Phillipines
June to July Cambodia
July to August Malaysia
August to September Indonesia
September to October borneo

This seems like a good plan but i think we still hit some rainy season. If anyone can help or suggest other itineries or ideas or anything we would be really grateful!

I just wanna lay on a beach and relax! We saved for nearly two years for this! Help!

And by the way i know the sensible answer would be to skip india and go to south east asia first while it's hot then go to india afterwards but that's not an option because our Indian visas start on date of issue and are valid for six months. We got them on 28th August so they expire February 28th.

Sorry for the length of this but please help! Thanks!

Lee and Nat xxx

The new plans looks good. Keep in mind that in many countries the weather varies by region. Vietnam is long, so the weather in the north is different than the weather in the south. There also are microclimates, such as the hill country of Da Lat in the South. The weather also can be different on Thailand's western beaches vs. its eastern beaches. Indonesia and The Philippines are long chains of islands; and weather can vary from island to island. There are a couple of Web sites that I use regularly to check the climate of places where I'm going. I've been to all of the places you've mentioned; and they're great!
