Good evening,

I am trying to arrange flight to Orlando, USA next year (2015 / 2016 ), but I have a drug conviction, cannabis - possession with intent to supply..a.( 7 ounces -225 grams ), this was back in 2002..It was either 42 days in the nick, or £2000 fine...Taught me a lesson, and then some, but I paid the fine......

Now, I am sure what the responses may be, but, if anyone may reply, this will be appreciated with regards to esta or answering no to all questions that the visa application requires from myself...

I am now a family man with a child, and Disney World is dawning upon us...

I am in limbo, and doing the limbo too as I am typing this..

Thank you, in advance if any advise can me given to myself..

Bobby J......

Hi,

Have you considered Disneyland in Paris? Or Hong Kong?

If you decide to lie on the esta application, apparently the UK don't share data with the USA so you ought not to get found out.

However US immigration have a reputation for being nasty and randomly turning people back even with a visa or esta, so if they haul you in and you crack under questioning you're going to have a ruined holiday.

My advice: go somewhere friendlier to travellers.

Forget it ever happened. Wipe it from your memory banks.

Have a great holiday.

Cheers,

I appreciate both replies and yes, I can see the one side and other side...

So, in hindsight, I shall wipe it from my memory banks and try stay cool under pressure if I was grilled, yes, easier said than done..

Once again, thank you for your replies and I bid you all the best..

Regards,

Bobby J
