I'd say either this one of icebergs in Lago Gray, Torres Del Paine National Park, Chile, South America or this one of sunrise over the Serengeti in Tanzania, Africa.

It's been said that "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", so I let others decide which of my photo's is the best (to him or her). In more recent times, I personally prefer pictures that I take of people. However, they don't always hold as much appeal to others, if s/he doesn't know the person that is the subject of the photo.

Very good point. My mother went through her photo collection of over 40 years, and ended up throwing out most of the photos of sunsets and pretty views, and keeping the photos with people in them. She said that it was the people that you remember, and want to remember, when looking back, not the colour of the sand on the beach.

I always try and keep that in mind when I am taking photos. I'll take a few of the sites of a place, but try and take more of the people I am with, or the people I meet.

When i look at photos of me with a group of friends in a bar somewhere, it brings a smile to my face because i think of great times, i'm sure these photos will mean a lot more in about 30 or 40 years though. I prefer a couple of my photos that i took in South Georgia of the wildlife, i think why i like these so much is that, maybe, i will never be in this kind of environment again to take photos like this, so from a personal perspective they have a certain uniqueness.

"The next one."

Or at least, that's the goal. :)
But if that trite (yet true) answer seems too simple, than I'd have to go for this one. Hardly any technical skill in taking it - point and shoot, nearly - but lots of accomplishment in recognizing when the moment was coming up (it had been in the air for half a day) and taking advantage of it right during the entire minute that it lasted.
I've messed up lots of opportunities for truly great shots, so every so often it feels really good when you manage to get one - and then have it come out technically near flawless.

I'm just a happy snapper.... I like the Sagrada Familia one just because it doesn't depict it as normal on photos. Of course the ones with family and friends are going to be most meaningful in the long run, but I still like the ol' nature/sites/cities shots.

This one turned out pretty good. I took it near the border of El Paso, TX and Juarez, Mexico.

I could never choose just one! NO, I am not saying ALL my pictures are wonderful...far from it. It's just that every picture means something to mean...either the people in it, or the place it was taken, or the memory it brings back...I couldn't part with a one:)
