Yet again, hey everyone

Trailfinders have informed me that I cannot fly to Easter Island from Santiago on my One World RTW ticket, even though Lan Chile fly there twice weekly.

Can anyone advise on this? Anyone done it? Strangely enough, when i checked out, they say that you can fly to Easter Island on the One World ticket.

I am confused. I need help.

Don't know if it was one World, but some friends did something similar. What you have to do is Don't fly to Easter Island, but fly instead to NZ or Australia, BUT on a flight which has a stop over on Easter Island. And before you go (i.e when you've already got your ticket, but are in Sth America), Change it so that you arrange to add a couple of days on the island as a stopover

Ah okay, that sounds doable. I'll be coming from NZ to Chile so I presume that could work the other way around also.

Thanks Rich, I'll check that out. ;)

Hi there

I have recently purchase my RTW ticket and I have Easter Island included on it. I fly directly there from Santiago with LanChile, and then back to Santiago before flying on to NZ. I'm not sure which ticket I have, I think it's Oneworld - it's the one with British Airways, Quantas, Cathay Pacific and lanchile.

Brillint MontyJim!

Thats what I wanted to hear. The potato-head at Trailfinders must have had his brain on standby or something.

Will have to ring them back.
