Hello guys,

I'm planning to move out and stay in Spain for couple of years with my nephew. I wonder if he should learn Spanish in order to feel comfortable with other boys of his age? What do you suggest?

You do not say what age he is. Under the age of seven/eight children pick up a language easily by mixing. You do not say where in Spain, i.e. will this be in an English ex-pat speaking community where it may be unnecessary if there are English speaking schools and you wish to send him to one.

Whatever, I cannot see this a query for a Travel Forum and more one for an expat forum like - http://www.expatforum.com/expats/spain-expat-forum-expats-living-spain/

i would suggest yes,
learning Spanish would help you in blend in, they would be able to understand you easily, moreover if you will conversate in Spanish with them you would sound familiar as well as easy to bond to them.
taking classes online could help you in learning this language easily
