Awesome! I booked the tickets for Mumford already even though I saw them at Bonnaroo in June! I figured it'd be a good one since it's their last one of the year! When do you arrive??

Hi Rachel, I've just added you on Facebook, I'm in the group chat. I'm 30 too so have also left it until the last minute to do it! I'm not arriving in Sydney until end of November but it would be good to meet up with you if you're still around then :) xx

Hi Nikkileanne... are you working in Sydney or will you be travelling.

I arrive 26th September and will be travelling up the East Coast for the next 5 weeks?

I anyone else going up the east coast?

Woaaah, so many of us arriving in October, yay! I was wondering if anybody knows if you still have to do the electronic visa thing if your WHV has already been granted? Can't seem to figure it out. I'm waaaaay behind on all of you with the planning though :-)

Which "electronic visa thing"? An eVisitor? No, you don't need that - your WHV is the visa which will allow you to enter Australia; the eVisitor is the (free) equivalent for people who just want to visit for three months without working.

Hey everyone!

I`m heading to Australia for 3 weeks on my own in October starting in Darwin on 14/10 then down the east coast to Sydney on 27/10.

Would be great to meet up with some of you if anyone's around then?

Paul.

Thanks Sander! I wasn't sure whether it was an ETA or eVisitor. But seems I'll be fine either way.

Hi LuceR396,

Australia is such an exciting place to go to!

Like Deanxc220 I'd recommend Byron Bay - it's a great place to visit and you can surf, if you're in to that. I went over on a gap year programme and got to check out a number of places. New South Wales is great and I'd definitely recommend going out in Queensland when you're there - the nightlife is awesome. I'm guessing you're already planning to see the Great Barrier Reef? There's loads of beaches too, like Hervey Bay (who knows, maybe you'll see a humpback whale?! ) and Airlie beach.
