Hi guys,

I have an Iphone 4, I'm not bothered about loosing it and I'm thinking of taking that instead of buying a cheap little 20 quid phone because
I can double it up as a camera,mp3 player etc, however I'm wondering if there are any company where, I can purchase a pay as you go SIM?

If your from the UK I use GiffGaff where you could pay 10 quid a month for 500 minutes and unlimited texts...

Is there anything similar in Australia?

Giffgaff give a free sim so your on their network then you just topup via web

Hi SpaceCowboy,

I'm sure there was a discussion somewhat recently about amaysim (fairly cheap and good for data was the summary, I believe) but I can't find the thread now.

I did find this one though so at least there's a few other options.

Hey,
I brought my iPhone 4 unlocked and went with Telstra, which has coverage all over Australia. Got a pay as you go sim card that you can top up online once you make an account. Has a few different plan options depending on what you want

In New Zealand you can get a 2 Degrees SIM card for free in the bus from the airport to the city (and probably other places too). Then you just have to pay for topping-up which you can do on-line or by text.
